Meet the Staff


Mitch Carr
Director of Fitness, Sports & Recreation
Manage the fitness program, Principal Investigator on RIC’s component of NCPAD, coordinate the Quad Rugby program; MS in Education - Exercise Physiology, U of Akron 1998; BS in Sports Medicine, Heidelberg College 1997.
I enjoy competing in running events, biking, cubs games, golfing, and playing with my dog.
Started at RIC in August of 1999
Chairman of Mayor Daley’s Fitness Council, Played college basketball for Heidelberg College.

I received my B.S. in Program Management in Parks and Recreation from Illinois State University. I enjoy playing basketball and although I am terrible at golf I love to play. I am a passionate Bears, White Sox and Bulls fan!
